Steven Hopper, renowned WA plant conservation biologist, is leaving his post a curator of Kew Gardens in England to take up the position as Chair in Biodiversity at UWA. After listening to Steve speak many times, I have no doubt that he will be sorely missed by the team at Kew, in fact, I suspect that they will miss him to the same degree as we will be happy to have him back.
