Just thought I’d take a moment to introduce myself as the newest member of the Ecoedge team.
After growing up in northern NSW, completing a Bachelor of Environmental Science at the University of Newcastle (NSW) and surfing my way across the bottom of Australia, I’ve been predominantly based “down south” (Western Australia) for the past 12 years. In that time I’ve worked largely in water management including groundwater and surface water licensing with the Department of Water, environmental education with Ribbons of Blue and water quality monitoring, rivercare and wetland conservation with local catchment councils. Most recently I’ve been managing a large effluent management project with dairy farmers which aims to improve waterway health around Busselton.
The enjoyment I gain from my work in natural resource management flows seamlessly through to my hobbies which involve all things outdoors and nature based, particularly walking, surfing and gardening. Being a parent of two delightful girls and a passion for cooking take up the rest of my day.
