Andrew Reeves BSc (Hons). Senior Consultant
I grew up on Oudabunna Station at Paynes Find where I completed my secondary schooling by correspondence while part of the Australian Army Reserve. I completed a Degree in Biological Science at Murdoch University from 1989-1991 before finishing an Honours Degree in Environmental Science in 1993.
I have led a small team of aboriginal seed collectors undertaking re-vegetation works on mine sites across the Pilbara and undertook an agricultural exchange to Canada and The Netherlands. I undertook a career in the Public Sector with the Agriculture Protection Board and then in Department of Agriculture as a Research Officer working on dGPS and mapping skeleton weed (Chondrillia juncea) and herbicide trials on declared weeds. Later my roles have included policy and project management with a focus on writing eradication and response plans for priority agricultural species and supporting staff in remote locations across Western Australia.
